Meet My Husband, Tom

Tom is his name.
Coffee is his game.
I find his cups all over the house.
He has a "story" about his coffee.
One day he poured himself a cup of coffee.
And the story goes like this:
He heats it up, adds more, leaves it out,
heats it up, adds more, leaves it out. This is repeated several times a day.
Sometime he changes the cup. He likes it this way!
Weird, I know but you don't know Tom, like his family does.

Tom is the funniest man I know.
He makes me laugh all day long.
He can be serious but not for long.

Several years ago he went into alcohol treatment.
We, his family, had an intervention done on him.
It was one of the hardest things I have ever done.
But we all came through to the other side and are so much better for it.

Today, Tom is a different man!
We laugh, we play and we have fun.
God is first in our lives.
Everyday we start out spending time in prayer together.
He has started a blog.
He saw how much fun Kimmy (our daughter) and I were having.
It is not like any other blog I have ever read.
But his personality does come through.
If you are a daring person, stop by and read some of his thoughts.

Warning!

It is weird!

  4. Your husband's blog is great. My husband's coffee habits are about the same. He sometimes forgets he warmed up a cup in the microwave and I find it there, sometimes days later. Yep, that's my husband. Have a great day. Jude

  6. Unfortunately I can totally relate to Tom's coffee habits. I most always have a hot carafe of coffee on my counter and a cup of coffee in my hand, or in the
microwave warming or sitting on a counter somewhere. I appreciate your writing about your husband and I enjoyed reading his blog. I am going to have my husband read it. I know he will like it. It amazes me how God works. This is a special story. Thanks for sharing it.
