Fall Wrap Up

A quick  review of my Fall ...

A friend came and stayed with us for several days.
We don't get many visitors.
Anita is a friend from the Seattle area.
We met at church years ago.

Growing flowers is a "growing'" passion.
New to my garden this year, were Dalilah's.
Good choice!

Tom and I always enjoy a date,
driving with the top down.
This time is was out in Farm County.

Things are growing.
Boys and eggs!
Here is Levi (12 yrs)
and
Isaac ( 5yrs).

Sunflower seeds are shucked and roasted.
A lot of dirty work but delicious.
Way to go Kimmy.

Saying Good-bye to the Hummers
until next year.

PEACHES!
An abundance crop this year.
Family, friends and neighbors
all received  plenty.

I enjoy growing roses, roses and more roses.

What we didn't grown in our own garden,
we bought at the Red Barn
A local vegetable market.

Fall...
my favorite time of year.
It ends way to soon.

❤ Milestone ❤

Lulu is now 13 years old!
(she loves Banjo)

Kimmy holding Lulu on her Birth Day,
thirteen years ago.
 And then thirteen years later!

Papa loves to give flowers on special occasions.

 This was a perfect time!

(With 6 kids running around,  there is always a Photo Bomber)

Lulu's flowers found a perfect spot in her room.

Sisters have such a precious bond.
Ila May, the baker, baked Lulu's birthday cake.

Forget about distancing!
We HAD to be up close and personal!!
It was a milestone event!

Another milestone event,
that you all can relate to...

 Lulu has started blogging!!!!

Stop by and say Hi to her!

Where did the time go?

Love'n On The Old Banjo!

Our new puppy, Banjo got very sick.
Stopped eating, drinking and playing.
All he did was sleep!

We were scared!

We took him to the Vets and they kept him
 for two days.

Banjo was given an IV and had X-Rays.
Nothing was found.
So they planned on surgery,
But then Dr. said, lets give it one more day.

That's when
he started to eat and perked up !

It was SO hard to leave him, not knowing if we'd see him again!
When he felt better,
the staff took turns holding him.
They all loved him!

He's home now and feeling good!

☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀

Our weather has been sunny but cold.
Soon I will have a date with Tom to
sit outside and enjoy a fire.

I might be pushing Spring!
But I'm ready.

I enjoy getting bulb plants for inside decorations,
 so that I can plant
them outside when I'm through with them.

❤  ❤  ❤  ❤  ❤

This is Banjo today!
(6 1/2 months old)

Love'n on the old Banjo!

While Waiting...

This summer,
I didn't plant any vegetables or
put out Humming Bird food.
Because we planned on being gone most of the time.

But my garden surprised me.
These Lilies have popped out!

It's been fun to give them out to family and friends.

Speaking of giving.

My friend Mary (her blog) made these
 Lip Pouches,
 for all our grandchildren!
I can see these being used for so many things.
They'll have fun picking out which one they want.

This is how thoughtful she is!
She even made me a crossover bag.
Which I'm going to use for
all my Doula tools, when we go to Seattle.

PLUS, she made a Tag Blanket for our newest
grandson!

This week Tom and I have been on a Juice Fast for five days.
(as of this writing, we are on day 2  😲 )
So far, so good.

The idea is to get healthy and stay healthy,

When we get back from Seattle,
we'll be traveling to Salt Lake City
for Nathan's surgery.

Grandma and Grandpa NEED to be strong and healthy.

Vegetables and fruits only!

All washed.

Tom is now a pro at this juicing thing.

We juice a full days worth of drinks and have them
labeled, in disposable coffee cups.

Grab and go!

When I was at the check out line,
buying all our produce,
the store had a different idea of
Grab and Go.
