While we were gone to Seattle,
Kimmy and family, went to
Salt Lake City.

Baby Nathan had an appointment the
Neurosurgeon and Plastic Surgeon,

He's been diagnosed with Sagittal Craniosynostosis.
Basically, his skull in closed and he doesn't have a
soft spot on the top part of his head.

He is a very happy baby.
He is surrounded by the love of
his parents, brothers, sisters
and grandparents.

Praise God, it's not an emergency surgery.
Nathan is scheduled for surgery

Facts, Pictures and a Sign

I
I read somewhere
that there are female and male, bell peppers.
The male has three humps, less seeds and isn't a sweet as the
the female that has four humps, more seeds and is sweeter.

I did some homework and investigated this for you.
Male on the left.
Female on the right.
Mmmmm...
Looks like the same amount of seeds, to me.

I asked my assistant, husband Tom,
to help with the taste test.
He choose the one on the left as the sweeter of the two.
Tom choose the male.
 Then I finished the examples
and I choose the same one!

Now it's your turn!
Try a taste test at your home.

It's Fall and the leaves are coming down!
I went out to the garage to get into my car
and this is what I saw.
A heart-shaped leaf stuck on the canvas roof.

I love anything heart shaped!
It's still on the roof.
I didn't have the heart to take it off

Show me a funny sign and
it always makes me giggle!

When we were in Seattle,
this was along the side of the road.
Just had to share it with you.

Our Week In Seattle

We started out pretty early in the morning.
The sunrise in Nampa, Idaho was beautiful!

Our drive takes us through the High Dessert to the
crisp air of the Pacific Northwest.
A total of 505 miles.

Evergreen Trees!!!
It's a sure sign we are getting really close.

Look closely, you can see a blue sign in the middle of the trees.

If you live in Seattle, you ARE a Seahawk football fan.
They are called the   #12  's

πŸ’—
Once we arrived at our destination, Todd's house,
we were greeted by a happy and eager little boy,
waiting to give us hugs,

Look how tall he has gotten!
Won't be long before he catches up to his dad!

Our week visiting and helping Todd
was full of fun and activities.
(Steph was in Denmark on business)

Todd was out the door to work, by 6:00 am.
That's when our day started at full speed, with:

Morning hugs.
Breakfast ....

Here they had breakfast by the fire.

Getting dressed for school
Making lunches and packing them.
Finding lost shoes & socks, coats and putting them on.
7:43 am, walking Trey to school.
Then back home.

* Trey in his class
* Us walking to school
* Picture day, all dressed up
* My new friend, the School Crossing Guard!

Then is was time with Scarlett.

We would prepare a dinner.
Color, read and play outside.
Do the laundry.
Fix  our lunch and eat it.
Talk about EVERYTHING!
Then it was nap time!

At 2:30 we'd walk back down to pick up Trey.

One day after school, we went to the Carkeek Park
It was great to smell the salt water again, listen to the waves
and dig our toes into the sand!!!!

Tom and I were so happy to be at the beach again.

I grew up in this neighborhood.
This beach was my playground.

After five days of fun, it had to come to an end.
Todd was flying over to Europe to meet Steph
in Bergen, Norway!

Todd said good-bye to Trey and Scarlett at the airport.

Papa and Ommie said our good-byes to Todd,  at the airport, too.
Then we took Trey and Scarlett home on the Light Rail train.

Now, it was our turn to say our Good-byes
to Trey and Scarlett!

It was the other grandparents turn, Steph's parents,
to take care of the kids for the next week.
