All our local news stations says it is going to be record breaking temperatures all this week!
We who live in the Seattle area, are not use to this.

For injured lips and tongues, try sucking on Popsicles! They not only taste good, but also reduce swelling and soothe pain.
I'm also going to be eating a lot of these this week to help keep cool!

  1. Christine! Those temps are VERY high! We have had an unusually MILD summer so far (for the Midwest)...I wonder if it will get VERY HOT in August/September around here...as we have not had the scorching summer we typically have!!

A popsicle is ALWAYS a good idea!
    Stay cool!

  2. I am visiting the Outer Banks of NC and it is in the 90's during the day and 70's at night. Very comfortable compared to most folks and I am thankful.

  3. I suppose it is possible that you are getting the benefits of weather due somebody else. I know we have had the coolest July ever on record. Amazing what the last administration had to say about Global Warming and then look at where we are today.

Come see what is up at Pick a Peck of Pixels.

  4. Hi Christine,
I forgot where you live until after I told you I live in WA. I actually live in Kent. Some day we will have to get together. My friend Nan @momstheword lives here too and I think there is one more Washintonian. Not sure of her l=blog at the moment.

Anyway...I have chosen you to receive the Kreativ Blogger Award. Come over and see why I chose you and pick up the award to share with others.

I enjoy your blog and it is surely hot today. I can't believe it. Whew!!
