Didn't have to worry about the Rain, weather was perfect.

We waited in line for the "doors" to open, in the shade. Lots of talkative people, delicious food, drink, fun, and good cause.

Once the concert started the music reminded us of the good old days. We joined in with our "neighbors" and danced the night away.

We live just a couple of miles away from this gorgeous place. So we got home early.

Thanks Tom for a great time!

Love Ya!

For beautiful azaleas, simply add two tablespoons of vinegar to a quart of water and use occasionally around your plants. They love acidic soil.

  1. Oh, Christine it looks like you had a wonderful evening!

I just love the concerts at the Chateau. Such a lovely setting to relax and enjoy music & wine in. I worked there for three years and even tho it's a bit less relaxing when you are working, we all still still had fun. Bob & I saw Madeline Peyroux there a few years ago, and it was absolutely one of the most perfect evenings we've ever experienced!

  3. Sounds like the perfect evening! I am a little jealous. I am trying to catch up a bit and enjoyed reading all of your posts that I had missed. I loved them all as usual! :-) I am impressed with all of your "new hats". Those are pretty impressive hats! Congrats on your award. Your grandchild is just precious and what memories you made that day. Have a wonderful week!

  4. Sounds like a nice evening.

Thanks for the info. on schools and also advice on observing offices where I go. I thought back on the SS office and how organized & tidy they were. Nice people too. It made my experience much better than I thought it would be.

    Take care
    Nannette
