Sugar & Sweets & Cupcakes

This was the sign outside the door in our school office.

Every year our High School hands our cupcakes to EVERY student, on or near Valentine's Day.
We have over 1900 students!

Our PTA moms were the Busy Bakers.

There were so many cupcakes, each student could of have two or three.

When I walk into the Conference Room, the smell of sugar was overwhelming.

I didn't come to temptation. Not one was eaten by me.

My daughter and I have decided to NOT eat sweets for a whole year.
So far, so good!
Thanks Kimmy for being there for me.

Now, I just have to get through Easter!

  7. What a great idea, sharing those cupcakes. I would love to try it at my school but I wonder how to get around the "no home-baked food" rule. Maybe we could bake them in the school cafeteria.

  9. Does the no sweets pledge get easier as time goes by? Do your cravings get less?

  10. WOW! That's a lotta cupcakes!! Christine, I'm blown away by the no sweets for a year. Just told hubby about you and your daughter's pledge. He asks,"What do you consider sweets...?" I can tell he would be looking for the loophole! LOL! I've done no sweets for six weeks. But, don't have the guts for a year! You go girl! I'll be cheering you on!
