Play Date

This is our backyard on any given day.
Serene and clean.

On Thursday, I invited Kimmy and the kids over
for a Play Date.
I raced home after work and found them ready to play.

After a while this is what the backyard looked like.
All the toys were out and played with.
Kimmy and Levi swung on "Grandma's swing".

Levi swung on the children's swing.

Grandma played ...

Laughed...

and laughed!

Mommy said, "It's time to go home".

She packed the kids up in the bike carrier.
And I rode with them back to their home.

A Play Date is the best way to end a long day at work.

If you are using a blanket for your picnic, you might want to consider packing a plastic tarp to place under the blanket should the ground be wet or damp. The tarp can be hosed off when you get home and folded up for your next picnic.

  12. That was pretty much a perfect afternoon. And you basically wrote a nice little children's book while you were at it. :)
