Had some Treats this weekend

Friday night we had special guests for dinner.
The chef served pancakes. It was a special request.

On Saturday we went to the Mall.
Lots of treats!
Carrousel rides...

Ice cream at Cold Stone...

Then Saturday night, Tom and I went to
Tamar's Annual Halloween Party.

Lots of yummy food and conversation.
Thanks Tamar!!

Today is a day of rest.
Whew!
No more Treats and no Tricks!

Halloween is in the streets today but in Protestant churches October 31 is something more -- Reformation Sunday, marking the date in 1517 when Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to a church door, eventually triggering the Prostestant Reformation.

  9. Christine,
What a fun day with Levi and Lulu! My kids always requested Grandpa B's waffles! Tom must make a pretty mean pancake! Looks like the party was perfectly decked out for Holloween! So happy the weekend was great!

  10. I could relate to the pancake request, and the fun the chef had in granting that request. Your little grandchildren are adorable! I can see by their smiles, that they are so happy to be with you. Looks like you had an exciting and fun Halloween.
