Simple Pleasure

Voting is a Simple Pleasure for me.
Especially, when Tom and I go out for coffee and a cookie.

We sat at a local coffee shop and discussed each potential.

A date combined with civic duty plus, dessert!

Finished!

Dayle, over at A Collection of This and That,
is hosting Simple Pleasures.
Please join us every Thursday.

  1. Christine,
Now that's the best way to vote, with dessert, coffee and Tom.... I'll have to remember that for next time!

  3. I never thought of it that way either, but the workers at the polling station did serve cookies, and I had one.... so that was a simple pleasure.

  7. What a great way to vote! If I get one more pre-recorded political message I'm going to shoot the phone. Coffee and dessert sounds so calming. Have a great day...Jude

  8. Totally agree with this one!

I've never understood how some folks don't like to vote. To me, it's an "outing". Now, I think I would love it even more with a little coffee and cookie included.

  18. We planned our Colorado trip so that we would be back for election day. You inspired me to download our local ballot to look over ahead of time. One difficult thing for us is that our state elections are pretty much decided by NY City ~ liberal to the nth degree. Do cookies and tea make deciding easier?!
