It's BOTH!
The city, Roslyn and the old T.V. show.
Tom and I took a day trip to Roslyn Washington.
It's where the T.V. show Northern Exposure was filmed.
All is quiet now...
but Tom wanted you to know the he was there.
Below is the final scene from the T.V. show that ended in 1995.
Oh how fun! Did a moose cross the road? :)
ReplyDeleteI've only seen this show a couple of times. I didn't realize it was taped in WA
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to visit little villages like Roslyn? So unique.
After living in the Yukon I can more appreciate the quirkyness of the remote place depicted in this show!
How cool is that?
ReplyDeleteOh, Christine, I would love to tag along with you and Tom on your weekend adventures! You just make life a big present to open!! I love it. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteNow that was a trip down memory lane. I loved that show. Who knew it wasn't really filmed in Alaska?!
ReplyDeleteI loved that show! Tell Tom... "seen and noted." I've heard of taking the tiger by the tail but what's with the camel?
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
I love to visit movie/TV places. I remember that show. It was on during the days when I was too dog tired from raising little ones to turn on a TV half the time.
ReplyDelete(Good old days... ya know.)
I just love to visit and live in your world...I mean all your special little trips...maybe we will not be too old when we have an empty nest to do the same.
ReplyDeleteSo I so enjoyed coming along for the ride again...this was great...such a fun looking trip
I didn't know that!! And I thought it was in Alaska??? Was that the location we were supposed to believe? Menopause! Short memory :)
ReplyDeleteLike I said before, you guys think of the most fun and interesting things to do together. This sounds like a trip down memory lane and must admit it brought back some for me too. You make the empty nest thing look inviting for everyone about to enter that time period. Love that you and your husband have good times together.
ReplyDeleteI was just passing through and thought id stop and say hello. Have a very nice weekend everyone. Richard from the Amish community of Pennsylvania.
