Cleaned my refrigerator the other day and it felt great!
I take all the produce out of their plastic bags
and put them in wicker baskets.
It's so handy to pull out the basket to find the
right vegetable or fruit.
Plus, I like the way it looks.

ReplyDeleteI hate cleaning the fridge, but always love it after it's done. The basket idea is great! See what you started? There is a whole group of us that are going to be putting baskets in the refrigerator.
ReplyDeleteYou've turned that fridge into a work of art! How lovely. Mine is empty. Perhaps I'll try and fill it today and I'll make an effort to do it tastefully! Thanks for the pics. :D

ReplyDeleteJob well done, my friend! Your fridge looks neat and tidy and I think the food looks so much more appealing in baskets! Adds a little incentive to healthy eating, doesn't it?!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Such wonderful and healthy food! Love the basket idea! Right now I've been so busy... that at least in baskets when it goes bad, It would look much prettier than all yucky in the bottom oF the produce bag! Many smiles!

I so dislike cleaning the fridge, moving all that stuff out etc, but once done, I am so happier I did it. Love your idea of using baskets. Makes me think of "Martha" Stewart, I believe it was saying to put a vase of flowers in the fridge for the appeal when one opens the doors. I don't know about most people but I don't have room. So I like your basket idea much better.

I love this one, and I love the idea of the fruit in baskets instead of crammed in there in their bags. I guarantee that yours never goes to waste, does it?
ReplyDeleteDon't you love how a clean frig looks? I don't have room for baskets, but I love the idea.
ReplyDeleteYour refrig looks so inviting.
ReplyDeleteAnd your wonderful idea of putting your produce in baskets is just lovely... reminds me of Alexandra Stoddard who shared a similar idea in one of her Living Beautifully books many years ago.
Now that's catching glimpses in unexpected places, m'dear......
