Helpful Hint

While cleaning our old home and
 getting it ready to rent,
I came across a cleaning product
 that was so helpful.

When we bought this glass top stove,
it came with a small bottle of specialized cleaner.
I also bought another glass top stove cleaner.
I scrubbed and scrubbed using both products.
Still didn't clean all the burnt-on food.
Then I remembered the salesman
telling us to just get some old fashion Bon Ami.
With just a few circles of rubbing,
 the burnt food was gone.
All that was left was a beautiful glass top.
It's just like new again!

Helpful Hint:
Use Bon Ami to clean your glass top stoves!

  2. Hi Christine...on a break from doing research this morning from home...eyes are tired...nibbling on stringcheese...and checking my blog.

and OH MY GOODNESS, I had no idea that they still make that product.

Do you remember the movie called "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken"? lol

One of the wacky character in that movie was always talking about they had to use Bon Ami to get the bloodstains off the organ keys where the murder took place.

Can't help it, every time I HEAR Bon Ami it makes me think of that movie and laugh.

But I guess if it will get blood off of ivory organ keys, it will get crud off the cooktop too lol.

Thanks for the tip and the chuckle.

    In Him,
    Grace

  3. I wonder if it works on ceramic stove tops too. I'll have to look for it. My mom used to use it but I haven't seen it in ages!

  5. NO KIDDING?!? I have the same problem with baked-on crud. At the beginning of the year I used up the little bottle of cleanser and bought a new one. Wish I had read this beforehand.
