It has warmed up enough for long walks.
We have a path that goes around our town.
From anywhere on the path you can get to downtown
(or a Starbucks).
Everyday there is something new to see.
1. The trail.
2. Evidence of busy beavers.
3. Parks Department put wiring around some trees.
4. Bikes enjoy the trail
5. One of several pieces of art work
6. My shadow
7. Picnic area
7 B Blue Herons
8. Car Bridge
9. Walking Bridge
10. Directions to city sights.
11. Starbucks
12. Downtown
It has been one year since we move to our town and
The Cottage!
The Cottage!
Warmed up? What's that? hahaha.
ReplyDeleteFun walk and neat photos! And if you did get cold, you can warm up at the Starbucks at the end! :)
That's great that you have such a neat walk to your downtown!
ReplyDeleteDo you go each day?
A year goes by so quickly. So quickly. I love going on walks with you, Christine. =) blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of your new place, it looks like you have settled in so nicely. I enjoyed walking with you through your town, the photo of the busy beavers reminds me of some goings on around our area.~smile~Thanks for sharing .
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sue
It's been a year already? Wow.
ReplyDeleteYour photos look like they could have been from Eugene. So similar and so beautiful.
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and a wonderful week.
Blessings, Christine! Oh so delightful catching up with you in the great Northwest! What a peaceful cottage setting you are enjoying - our temps here have been in single digits for over a week but they're saying highs in the 60's by Wednesday. Maybe take a walk then - but not today - sunshine notwithstanding! Love your "friemily" word - may have to add that to my lexicon, too! And- if you're in South Jersey next November, do come to retreat with us!! Joy!

How nice it is that you have so many beautiful sights to see on your walks! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the mosaics and the clear details as to what is what. I can be a bit challenged in following numbers (HA!), but you made it perfectly clear.
ReplyDeleteHappy cottage anniversary!
Wow, I can't believe that it has been a whole year! Time speeds by!
ReplyDeleteIt has been cold and snowy here... no long walks or even short ones! Thank you for taking me on a mini vacation!

Oh I enjoyed this...taking time to notice all these things and letting us view them also.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on one year at the cottage...I have enjoyed your year there and pray many, many more happy years
A full year already? I can't believe how time has flown since you began blogging from your new location at "The Little House". I would enjoy those walks and bike rides.
ReplyDelete(Did I mention that I'm getting my hands on two bikes for us to use? You have inspired me, and ours is a tandem. I can't very well take it for a ride when he's out of town so I'm getting a more flexible alterative.)
Happy 1 yr anniversary.. It looks like you live in a beautiful quaint town!
ReplyDeleteRobyn :)
I cannot believe it is 1 year already. You have shared so many unique and special aspects of the town where you now live, and I think it seems like such a nice place to live. Your cottage cerainly is cozy and inviting.
