Our church sponsored an Easter Egg Hunt for
our local YWCA Family Village
We have a great partnership with the YWCA.
All year long, we offer help and service.
There were over 30 little ones and a few big ones,
along with their moms or dads.
We didn't forget about the adults.
We served fresh coffee, juice
along with yummy muffins and donuts.
It was a success and a lot of fun.
You could tell by the chocolate smiles.
The weather was perfect.
So many happy and cute kids.
What a great ministry and it looks like fun, too!
ReplyDeleteNo coats?? Lucky you guys. ha.
How nice that your church does this. And for such a worthy cause. The kiddies are cute. Nice that you provided food and drink for the big kids too. Hope you had a wonderful Easter.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great thing your Church has going. Glad there were lots of happy children :)
ReplyDeleteI sounds so fun! I didn't participate in a single egg hunt this year. We were busy the day the church did one, and we don't have any little ones in the fold yet.
ReplyDeleteChocolate smiles always give it away. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great ministry to be involved in. Hope you had a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteAs a child, egg hunting was the highlight of my year. Looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteChocolate smiles do say it all!!! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteHi Christine! Joy to you and yours! I had a great Easter egg hunt with my grandbaby, while visiting her in New England for the week. Trouble is - coming back home to too much backlogged work! Catching up finally with everyone here in Blogland. And - Bravo - fighting City Hall and winning! All that construction happening around you - wow - don't you have a zoning board? Glad you didn't lose the tree, though. Hope your vistas improve!
ReplyDeleteJoy!
