Chicken Soup

~Susan Branch~

I have never made chicken stock from scratch.
The other day, I rolled up my sleeves and went to work.

It took some time and I put a lot of love into it.
Tom is having his left knee replaced.
So, what do you serve someone recovering?
 Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup!

(If you have lost track...Tom had his right knee replaced about three years ago.
He also had his right hip replace this past summer.)

 Mmm Mmm Good!

This is the recipe book I found for my chicken stock.
Susan's books are so much fun to read
and her recipes are delicious!
Big fan of Susan, in case you didn't know!

Checked another Fun Fall Thing off my list.

(Update: Tom had his surgery and is doing very well)

The pine needle art is gorgeous! I love how people see art in all kinds of things... or I guess I should say they MAKE art in all kind of things!
