Northwest Flower and Garden Show
Getting ready for Spring
My friend and neighbor, Destiney and
I went to Seattle to take in
all the colors, smells, and friendship,
that the day could give us.
Flowers, flowers and more flowers
Even chocolate!!
Oh, and I found a funny sign.
It reads,
Almost Spring
we are so excited
we wet
our plants!
Colors, smells and friendship... right next to grands, at the top of the list! =) blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteHEHE ... loved the wetting the plants thing. Just what I needed, a big laugh.
ReplyDeleteHello Christine, No, by the looks outside my widow, Spring is not here! But this is where HOPE come in...
ReplyDeleteI hope YOU have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
Blessings, Roxy
Well, I thought spring was on the way here, but we're getting more ice tonight so I guess not.
ReplyDeleteI'm still giggling about wetting your plants. So funny. I want to figure out a way to make that into a card or something. Wouldn't it be a great way to encourage someone with a giggle? Maybe someone going through a personal long "winter"?
Your show looks very much like our Flower Show here in Philly. Aren't they fun? And I like the "wet our plants" sign too.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my snowy world. It looks as if you got quite a bit. Ours is almost gone, bu now it looks like we are getting another 10 to 12 inches tomorrow night. *sigh* I am SO ready for spring.
I hope spring will come to you soon, Christine!
ReplyDeleteBlessings :-)
Loved the glimpse of Spring,Christine, even if it was short lived, I am so ready for Sring to arrive, but for now we are dealing with 8 inches of snow, with freezing rain and sleet tonight. I guess I will remember this winter when our temps hit 100 this summer! Thanks for sharing thank you for visiting me for your condolences for our family.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Sue
I really needed a glimpse of Spring today, as we are in the midst of another huge snowstorm. Thanks for sharing the beauty with us. I really liked the picture of you and your friend. Friends are so special!
ReplyDeleteWet our plants....hehehaahhheee! Going to use that one for sure.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Valentine's Day!
