Remember this sweet but sad looking daffodil plant?
Here it is today!
It's blooming!!
(Doing a happy dance)
My Hero!
Our dryer quit on us.
But not for long.
Thank you Tom!
The Little Free Library
Monica and Jack
This is a neighbor who lives in the apartments behind us.
Monica is the mom and Jack is her two year old son.
They come quite often to play at the library.
Mom: "Jack, let's go to the big park with the slide."
Jack: "I want to go to the library".
So, Mom packs up a backpack full of toys and food.
Mom bring her coffee and then gets a book from the library.
They both are content.
Sometimes Mom gets in the dirt and plays with Jack.
I don't know this lady but she comes almost everyday!
I've tried to converse with her but to no avail.
I have decided to let her enjoy her quiet time.
She has her coffee and just sits for about an hour.
We get so many visitors everyday.
Some come for a book.
Others drop off books.
Some just to look
and
some to sit!
and
some to sit!
A lovely peek into your world, Christine. Enjoyed the visit.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post..and I love the library. I truly need to do one of those one day.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love a handy man! :)
ReplyDeleteYour little library has really become quite the success! That is so fun that people use it regularly! Love it!
So proud of your dryer repair man! You know that I love that husband of mine to pieces, but I don't think he could fix an appliance to save his life. (Shhh... don't tell him I said that.)
ReplyDeleteAs to Mom and Jack and the rest of your visitors to the free little library? I just love that too.
And in another random comment:
ReplyDeleteI want a big old SIMPLIFY sign like that in my house.

I love seeing your daffodil blooming. There's hope that someday I'll see flowers again too. That's great that Tom can fix things. It sure saves time and money! And of course I love the library. Especially that it's being used.
