The cleaning is finished!
We are ready for Silas and family.
They arrive tomorrow.
Let me back track a bit for you.
Silas is having open heart surgery on May 6th.
The hospital is over here, in Seattle.
They live in Idaho.
Tom and I will be taking care of the three older children,
while mom and dad stay with Silas,
Our cottage is very small, 750 sq. ft.
So we rearranged, added and cleaned.
I thought I'd share our living room and dining room with you.

I probably won't be around much in the next few weeks.
I'm going to be busy, being grandma.
My favorite thing to be these days.
Silas turned One Year, old today!
Here he is eating cake for breakfast.

It all looks like HOME. I love it and know it will be a haven for his siblings and for you all during the stay.
ReplyDeleteI just showed his precious picture to my husband and told him the story. Now, we'll BOTH be praying.
(And then, I had to tell him your whole story (all about the Little House and bike rides to get coffee and everything. I love your story.)
I'd like to have me some of that cake! You knock yourself out having fun with those grandkids. Or wear yourself out at least. :D Silas will have people praying for him. Hang in there Grammy Goo.
