Lucy got a haircut

These are the out takes.
Lucy does not like her picture taken!

Tom and I are coming up on ONE YEAR,
 since we moved to Idaho.

We have seen really hot weather,
106 degrees.
We have seen really cold weather,
 -6 degrees.

But lately, the weather has been beautiful!
Today, we jumped on our bikes.
We found a new trail, in farm country.

Come along for a ride!

Off in the distance are the snow capped mountains.

It was an easy, slow ride.
Lots to look at.
My favorite part of the ride, the horses!
Next time I'll bring carrots.

will be with you wherever you go. "

  1. It's hard to believe it's been one year already. Time flies. Lucy looks cute with her haircut. I would have loved to ride along with you on your bikes -- if I knew how to ride a bike. The scenery is so pretty!

  6. Lucy is just precious with her new haircut! She seems shy of all the attention, lol! And what a lovely bike ride to happen upon! I loved seeing the hens coming out to meet you too, along with the beautiful horse! What a special way to spend a day, simply delightful! I loved the snow-capped mountains in the distance, we have lots of those here still, thankfully! Have a blessed day my friend! :)

  7. I absolutely love that scripture, Christine. So comforting. It looks like you and Tom had a lovely bike ride. Snow-capped mountains are marvelous, aren't they? I enjoy ours so much. Lucy is adorable. What a cutie! xo ~ Nancy

  8. Almost a year since you moved ... that hardly seems possible!

And Lucy is looking so adorable even if she doesn't like her photo taken.

    Wishing you a beautiful weekend...

  9. Lucy is camera shy, so cute!
What a lovely place and beautiful pics from your bicycle ride too, nothing more peaceful and serene.
Thanks for dropping by. Hubby wanted to build a small tea rack, but then I saw many racks for platters on Pinterest and it looked like I didn't need much space and I decided on a big one. It's 4 inches deep, that's enough for plates and platters.

  10. Lucy is too cute.

I've been thinking of getting a bike. My daughter got one for Christmas and has enjoyed it.
