Yes, I've been gone for awhile.
This is the second reason why!
We traveled over to Seattle after a l-o-n-g
winter. It has been four months since we
were there last.
Family and friends were missed and
we needed to catch up.
I've been wanting to show you this sign for a long time.
I laugh every time I read this.
I see this when we drive to Seattle.
Someone has a great sense of humor!
When we arrived at the Penny Lane Condo,
(aka the trailer we stay in),
we were greeted with a special gift.
The foot print of our, now, 6 month old grand daughter, Scarlett
and the hand print of 3 1/2 year old, Trey.
This is the front door of our
Penny Lane Condo.
Lucy is the official greeter.
Couldn't get enough kisses and hugs!
Scarlett couldn't keep her eyes off
of Papa!
Trey was so excited to show me everything
he has learned.
This was impressive.
We did so many things!
Swim lessons
Open House at Trey's school
Played in the park
Read books
Visited the Seattle Science Center
It was so sweet to hold and be
with our grandchildren.
Scarlett is sitting up on her own now,
under the careful eye of Ommie!
under the careful eye of Ommie!
We left early in the morning before the sun came up.
What a wonderful send off.

ReplyDeletePrecious, precious moments! After a long winter, a welcome visit to see them! I laughed at the sign too... from what I know of Yakima, it is definitely NOT like the sign would imply, lol! Too funny... loved all the pictures of your sweet grands, so awesome to enjoy them and do fun things! And your home away from home is pretty special too... love Lucy's welcoming face :)
ReplyDeleteAw, the grands are adorable. So good you were able to visit and love on them!
