Brain Freeze

"Brain freeze is practically a rite of summer. It happens when you eat ice cream or gulp something ice cold too quickly. The science term is sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia, but that's a mouthful. Brain freeze is your body's way of putting on the brakes, telling you to slow down and take it easy."
Science Daily

And there is a way to alleiate the pain, quickly.
Put your tongue on the roof of your mouth.
Or drink something warm.

Tom and I went for a lovely drive for our "date night".

We ended up in Homedale, Id.,
right in front of an ice cream shop.

Tom is a magnet for anything ice cream!

One very happy Guy!
Brain Freeze!!

And now...

Someone sent this to me and I had to share
it with you.......

  1. I seldom have brain freeze. I'm a slow eater and usually melt my ice cream completely before swallowing.

  4. Me too! I love ice cream and make it often in my Cuisinart machine. Like it even better when the kids are home turned in the big wooden ice cream churn. That sheep thing....funny!
