You Know I Had To Blog About This!

Snow, Snow, Snow and more Snow!

We have a covered back patio
 that was full of snow.
And with all the snow and now rain,
it started to bow in the middle.

Tom to the rescue!

But first, he had to get ready....

Once he was ready, he went out and
tried to remove the snow with a long-handled brush.

  It wasn't enough!

Our Son-in-law, Mark, came over to
help. Together, they reinforced and braced
the sagging patio roof.

Well done Boys!

  1. My husband and I really enjoyed the photos of Tom trying to get in his bibs. My husband also told me I'd better not reciprocate with the same. LOL! Tom is a great sport. WoW! What snow you got. Is that par for that area?
Great idea for saving your porch.

  2. I have to admit, I laughed out loud at Tom trying to get his outer clothes on. Sorry, Tom, you really have my sympathies.

Every time I see snow pics like these I thank the good Lord that I was born and raised and still live in the South! I'm too old and too wimpy for that kind of activity.

Hope the awning was saved and that warmer weather finds you soon.

  8. Oh, I did have to laugh with you at poor Tom trying to get dressed for the cold job! I completely understand. We have had to shovel our roofs now three times already, and they need done again. It is a cold job. I keep my greenhouse shoveled and that is about all I do, my son has done the rest. This has been a doozy of a winter, lol! Glad you got the snow off the roof and it shored up. Hugs to you dear friend!
