Apples, Apples, Apples



I usually don't post recipes but this one is Sooooo Gooood!

And it's easy, a recipe from Susan Branch, apples are in season, well I could go on.




Trust me!





Easy!














Good!






Apple Crisp
(Susan Branch)
375 Serves Six
About 4 medium , peeled, sliced , tart apples (Granny Smith)
3/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 C flour
1/2 C oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3C softened butter
Preheat oven. Butter a square baking pan. Place the apple slices in pan. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.

~Tidbit~
To remove crayon stains from glass, porcelain, Formica, metal , plastic, no-wax vinyl floors, painted walls. painted wood, scrabble wallpaper, tile chalkboard and marble, spray surface to be cleaned with WD-40 and wipe with a soft cloth. If a residue remains add liquid dish washing detergent into water, wash the surface with a sponge, working in a circular motion and rinse. Repeat as needed.

  2. How fortuitous! My sister just gave me a box of apples from her tree last night. So I think I'll try your recipe.... it must be good... light of that photo you posted. One small piece left!!
