This is their daughter Kimmy writing. One of the fun things about being such great friends with my mom is that she shares everything with me, including her password for her blog!!!!! So......I stole their wedding album, scanned some photos and loaded them onto the blog.
Bridesmaids : Erika (my cousin, their niece), Kate ( friend), my mom, Didi (maid of honor and moms best friend), Jeane (sister in-law married to my mom's brother)
Groomsmen: Bill (friend), Wayne (friend), my dad, Dale (friend), Bob (dad's brother)
Oscar & Lynn (dad's parents), Tom & Chris, Pat & Jack (mom's parents)So after the wedding my parents took off for their honeymoon........no, not Hawaii, guess again........Whitefish Montana!! They went skiing!!
They took the Amtrak from Seattle over to Montana. The day they arrived it was pouring rain, not the kind of weather anyone wants on their honeymoon. The next morning they woke up to BEAUTIFUL blue skies and sun, perfect skiing weather!
I want to wish my parents a Happy Anniversary. Thank you for being such a great example to Todd, Stephanie, Mark and I. Your marriage has been a great testimony to what the Lord can do when you put Him first. We love you very much!

The very best wedding gift that Chris and I received were Kimmy and Todd, our loving children. We are proud of them. They are outstanding people. Thank you Kimmy for this gift, of sharing our wedding day.

ReplyDeleteI loved looking at these photos. Congratulations on 31 years. It went by in a flash didn't it? I hope your celebration was fun and memorable.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations are in order! Reaching such a milestone is impressive, and apparently they raised some wonderful kiddos along the way. And, for what it's worth, I'm a sucker for old wedding photos.
ReplyDeletePure sweetness. And daisies are the perfect happy flower no matter what decade they're in!
