I have participated in a Blogger Party,
hosted by Karen over at My Desert Cottage
Welcome to Paris!
This is where I create my posts.
Some of you know that I name the rooms in our home
and this room is called Paris.
My creative work space.
I have about seven Eiffel Towers dispersed all around.
I also have a collection of milk glass containers.
View to my left.
This room use to be our son's bedroom.
The walls are painted a green/gray color.
But most of the decorations are black and white.
View to my right
Oh, I almost forgot.
I collect white ceramic bunnies (book shelf).
View of the backyard.
Now, many of you are just getting to know my husband, Tom,
through his blog.
We share this room.
So the next few pictures are of the "other" side of Paris.
We both use tables as our desks.
And yes, that huge monster on Tom's desk,
is an old but working computer monitor.
The view when I turn around.
Tom took off one to the closet doors,
so he could lean back and daydream,
ah... I mean get creative.
Tom's creative space.
I don't dare post any close up pictures.
It's all a work in progress, so he says.

In winter of 2004 the first floor of an «Iron Lady» was re-equipped into an ice skating rink. This was some sort of an advertising of Paris as 2012 winter Olympiad candidate.
I just love Paris! Your Paris that is! Your garden view is so calming and pretty! I must admit, that my office looks more like Tom's than yours! Your desk is what I strive to obtain!

What a fabulous room to create! How wonderful that you allow Tom to share your space with you (haha). Now I have to ask -- why this love for Paris? Have you been? It seems like such a wonderful romantic place. I was just wondering if it held special memories or special dreams for you. I love your area, Christine, and thanks for letting me take a peek in!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhh... I so enjoyed seeing where you create and share your life with us. It looks like such an inviting room, pleasant to be in and comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI love the way Tom describes his corner... it's all a work in progress.
I love your Paris room, although I'm afraid my creative space relates more to your husband's side than to yours, but I do want to be like you someday. Thanks for sharing your beautiful space and views.

ReplyDeleteSo your creative work space in Paris is lovely and perfectly tidy. I am jealous! Before I could photograph my space I would need 60 minutes to tidy it and pick some flowers. I am inspired to do that (thanks to you). I’ll get to it right after:
ReplyDeletea birthday dinner for my youngest son 6/20
a faculty picnic 6/23
the last week of school 6/25
three days of kindergarten screening 6/28-30
a visit from my Ohio cousin 6/2
a wedding shower for my second son 6/3
a fourth of July celebration 6/4
a country Cottage luncheon 6/6
a day to do nothing 6/7
So . . . I am thinking maybe 6/8
Enjoy the Little Things said...

This post was actually removed by "Corners of My Life" due to the fact that I was mistakenly signed in with my husband's account and instead of hitting previeew, I hit post. When I say all my spelling errors I just couldn't leave it there. Not the first time I have made this mistake. Sorry . . .
Nice! I have to say that I like your side of Paris better, though! LOL! You're nice to share with him. ;) I remember when all of our computer monitors looked like that one! ha.
ReplyDeleteHow nice! Great working/creating spaces.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could share my working space with my husband. In our case I am the messy one and my husband is very neat and organized. The chaos on my side would drive him crazy!
ReplyDeleteI am very lucky and going to be in Paris in a couple of weeks. Let me know if you want another Eiffel Tower for your Paris room.

I love how you name all of your rooms...
ReplyDeleteand I think that's neat that you two share a room like that. Scott and I do, too. BUT!
Both sides of the room are "not so Paris"... I'm like Mary (Corners of my Life)... We need to tidy it up ( a lot) before any pics. Although I will say -you've completely inspired me.
A Co-Creating Room! Too fun! I love your Paris theme and that green-gray with the B&W is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your space where you "create". I also can't share my space at this time until the maid comes! Ha! :)
ReplyDeleteTehe!:) Your space is WONDERFUL!, and I think it's fun to imagine you sitting there composing your posts and writing comments to your blog friends!
ReplyDeleteTom's space is a little more like mine, I'm afraid. And I get that leaning back, getting ceative, daydreaming thing!
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings!
Looks like a perfect space to create your perfect posts!
ReplyDeleteLove your "Paris." Thank you for your prayers.
