Tom and I went for a walk at the outdoor market this evening.
Yes, walking with Tom is my simple pleasure this week
Weather couldn't have been more perfect.
The weather forecast is rain for the next six months.

Your photographs are BEAUTIFUL. :) What a lovely simple pleasure...a walk with your husband. :)
ReplyDeleteToday mine was a dinner out and we had an awesome time. :) Love is a wonderful thing. :)
BLESSINGS!!
I must say, this looks like a piece of heaven on earth. I wanted to be there! Such wonderful photos, too. What a great simple pleasure, Christine ... walking to an open market with your honey.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful....especially the collection of peppers and the zinnias(?). Oh, what a wonderful walk!
ReplyDeleteThat walk was a feast for the eyes!! I am very happy for you to enjoy your walk with Tom; there's nothing like sharing God's beauty with someone you love (and his knee being well enough to enjoy a walk).
ReplyDeletedid you say rain for six months??? wow. Glad you got in that walk. awesome photos...I think the greatest artwork is His
ReplyDeleteI love walking and I love farmer's markets. We have a Saturday Market with the same features. Your photography is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSix months of rain.....don't even talk about it. I'm so not wanting winter this year. We just put away our deck furniture that could fit in the shed and be stored. You know how it is needing to put the cushions and umbrella away when they are dry because once the rain starts, it's too hard to dry them out completely.
A walk with my husband is always a delight. What a wonderful walk you had, what a great market!
ReplyDeleteChristine,
ReplyDeleteWhat an answer to prayer, to be able to walk once more with Tom! I am so thankful that he is recovering from his surgery and is able to enjoy this simple pleasure with you! Your photos are beautiful! The produce, bright flowers and the sparkling water... stunning!

What a beautiful evening and a great outdoor market. I'm glad that you get to enjoy the outdoors for as long as you can. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun market. I do believe I saw some Cambodians selling flowers in one of the photos and as you know Cambodia is near and dear to me these days. Koodos to Tom on his recovery (with your help!).
ReplyDeleteWhat could be better than a walk with your honey in such a beautiful place? So good to hear that Tom is doing well.
ReplyDeleteOh I love outdoor markets but we don't have too many near here. I would have loved spending the day at this one you've shared with us! Love all the fresh colors!
ReplyDeleteoooooooo, the colors in your photos are awesome! Thanks for sharing. Also, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting. You will always be so welcome. Susan
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Christine. A lovely simple pleasure.
ReplyDeleteNow, I walk with my husband, but it's just in a big old circle around the neighbhorhood. I would love to walk and end up in an open air market like that! It looked wonderful. I'll bet you enjoyed every sight and sound of it... and taste too, maybe?
ReplyDeleteLoved your posting... great photos.... that's living, isn't it!
ReplyDeleteGoing for walks with my sweetheart... aha... that one more thing I could add to my list of things I never tire of!
Truly... a simple pleasure of great joy!
Hello Christine, I love the way you've captured the beautiful light in all your photos! It all looks so peaceful and pretty-what a perfectly beautiful walk with your beloved :-)

So much vibrance here -- there's nothing like a good farmer's market. Thanks for taking me with you on your walking journey.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures ...the simple things bless us so .. thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for your sweet comment on arise 2 write. You will never know what it meant to me.
ReplyDeleteIt seems my post could be taken the wrong way. I certainly did not mean it as bragging. It was simply my attempt to be honest about my situation.
As GOD would have it, Sitka wrote about "needing a translator" and "being misunderstood" over at All Gods Creatures! Yes, GOD speaks loudly to me through my dogs. He was preparing me for what he knew I would need in minutes. HE IS AWESOME!
Hugs,
andrea
