Home for Christmas 2010 - Part 4

Christmas Day
Tom & I traditionally have an Open House
for friends and family to stop by for food and cheer.

First to arrive was Lulu and family.

I love this picture.
Mark is in the background helping cut the ham.
Kimmy is relaxing with Lulu.
Papa and Levi are somewhere playing.

Company!

Family picture.
Tom, Bev and Bob.

At the end of the day, it was all about Camp Lulu.

  4. I hope Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 are yearly traditions. Each one looked like fun. The little ones make it so exciting.

I am having Part 5 today - putting #2 son on a "very delayed" Amtrak train headed to blizzard laden NYC enroute to Philadelphia.

  5. That looks like fun!

One of my favorite things to do as a kid was to make those blanket tents!

  9. Aside from the celebration of Christ's birth, family and friends ARE what Christmas is all about. Your open house looks like just the place we would all want to be invited and welcomed so warmly. You are a generous and loving soul, Christine!

  11. How sweet it is! Love the idea of an open house, too. I've been away from blog land, so I'm late getting by.

RYQ: Yes, mom and dad live close ... about a two hour drive. Grateful.

  12. Christine, do you realize that this just popped up on my reader today? I wonder what's going on with that? All of a sudden -- I mean within 3 seconds, there were 87 items. How odd. This post caught my eye because I LOVE blanket tents. It was my favorite all time thing to do as a little girl. You get to play like a little girl all over again now, don't you?
