Arthur

This is a picture of Arthur and Lucy, our dogs.
Arthur is 9 lbs and Lucy is 3 lbs.
Both are Yorkies.
Arthur has been very sick lately .
This is picture of Arthur in happier days.
He had just gotten a hair cut and looks so handsome.
This is the usually "boyish"  look.

We don't know how much longer we will have him around
and it's been a very difficult to think that we will loose Arthur.
The vet said to keep him comfortable.
His last days are full of hugs, loving whispers, kisses and
licks of ice cream.

You can visit here to read about Arthur's story.

  4. The story of how you acquired Arthur and Lucy is precious. It is always hard to lose a pet -- they are a part of our lives. I have had two cats that I loved dearly who have passed on. It is hard, no two ways about it. Keep doing what you are doing. You have given Arthur a wonderful life.

  5. Hi Christine, I know just what you are going through but want to offer you hope....our old dog(13) Reggie has a seizure this summer. The vet told us it was a brain tumor and he probably just had 3-4 wks left. He stopped eating for awhile and the vet said the cancer was spreading. Guess what-here we are 4 mos later and he is still with us, with no more seizures etc.
I call it days of grace. Praying you have many more days & weeks with your Arthur.
    Hugs, Noreen & Reggie

I will pray for you. I remember when we lost our dear dog. It's hard. But we have such wonderful memories of our time with him. We still laugh at our big guys antics.
    Take care-Kimberly

  11. Oh, sweet Christine, I am so sorry to hear about Arthur. He is just a doll. Losing a pet is one of the most painful experiences in life. They love unconditionally and bring us so much joy. May you find peace and strength in the coming days.

  12. Could those faces be any more adorable??

I know exactly how you feel about Arthur. It's so hard when you know there their time with you is limited. We've lost 2 furry family members, one to very old age, one to illness. I still cry when I think about them. They truly stay in our hearts forever.
