Eggs and Roses

Tonight we had our grandchildren over for dinner,
 along with their parents.
I wanted to give the Lulu & Levi something special.
Something that would make a memory.
(my new theme is *less things more memories*).
Lulu got four sweet, pink roses.
She didn't let go of them all evening.
I got the flowers from the local florist, which was
next door to the Starbucks.
The one I walked to the other day.
(Love this town!)
This little guy loves his hard boiled eggs.
I had to be quick get this picture.
Today, Miss Ila May is 9 months old.
Crawling all over the place!
Our cottage maybe small but we all can fit
 on one couch, for now.
Got to read at least three or four good books,
before they head home.
Yesterday, we had Todd and Stephanie over for dinner.
They loved our new home.
Thank you Todd for helping with the move.

Both nights were filled with some
great memories!

  1. Christine
    Now a new chapter begins!
    And it appears there's plenty
of room on that couch for all.
I like your new theme too.

  2. You are blessed indeed, Christine... and so is your family. Love the bouquet you made for Lulu. So sweet and the hard boiled favorites... you are a wonderful grandmother. Enjoy every moment of it! blessings ~ Tanna

  3. We sure had fun tonight. Lulu has her roses on her night stand.

  4. Awww, your granddaughter looks so proud of her roses. They are all such little cuties. :)

  5. How sweet! Love the cottage. Have a great weekend.

  6. Ah, your Lulu looks like she will be like my older daughter. She developed a love for fresh flowers very young, and they are STILL the way to her heart.

    Less stuff... more memories.
    Yes. Yes. Yes.
    And Yes.

  7. Wonderful! I agree... less stuff and bring on the memories! You and your family are Blessed, yes indeed you are! :)

  8. I love your theme...

Less is More. Is one way I say it.

But I like how you added more to define it with less things, more memories.

    So True!

  9. Tears came to my eyes...this is what life is all about!! You got it girl..what a blessing!

  10. Christine,
    Blessing abound all around!
I think that says it all!

  11. Loved this post, Christine. Your kiddos and grandkids are blessed to have such a thoughtful mom and grandmother.

  12. Wonderful new memories being made in your new home, Christine. Does it get any better than this?
    Enjoy your weekend.

  13. Sounds like so much fun! Can I come tomorrow night? ha.

  14. How blessed you are to have them all so close.

  15. Less things. More memories. Yes.

    Blessings, Debbie

  16. Your new theme is perfect! Your granddaughter carrying those pink roses is a precious picture. You are creating memories and they are so fortunate to have a grandmother like you. Great pictures!
