"Popsicle toes.
Popsicle toes are always froze.
Popsicle toes.
You're so brave to expose all those popsicle toes."
Betsy (her charming blog is called My Five Men)
has invited us to join her
It's Spring and time to get those toes polished up.
BUT...
here in the cold, damp, Pacific Northwest,
we still are scraping ice off our car windows...burrrr!
Being Betsy's friend, I bared all.
Do you find that pedicures tickle?
I do!
It takes me a lot of Will Power to not jerk my foot.
The name of the polish is called, Flower to Flower.
Don't you love the names given to polish colors?
Now that would be a fun job.
Braving the elements, I tried on a few sandles.
Being it's a party,
I needed to really dress up my toes.
I went to the store and found this:
Nail Art Pen
Just the thing I wanted to add to my toes.
Now I'm ready for
I exposed my Popsicles Toes today,
just for you Betsy!
Burrrr
Your toes look wonderful, but...yes, brrr. I am not too far from you, and it is too chilly for sandals. You are brave to bare your pinkies in this weather.
ReplyDeleteYour toes looks great in all your sandals. I love getting pedicures...once a month. Being in Florida most of the year I wear sandals and open toe shoes all the time. I do need to get my sneakers on and get walking!! Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteTwo things:
ReplyDelete1.Your toes look spingy and festive no matter what the weather.
2. I'm not baring my feet on the world wide web. That's because I'm a cheapskate do it yourself type of girl with the peds to prove it.
We have freeze warnings this morning, but nevertheless, your feet look so nice! Great job! Thanks for the smile this morning.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love them! The polka dots were a fun addition! haha...yes, it is rather cold for sandals there. You know...it's too cold for them in Ohio today! All that warmth that brought the blooms out is gone today. Brrr!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all of your sandals, too! Soon you can wear them out...soon! :) Thanks for joining in and good luck in the giveaway!
You are just toooooooooo much fun...and the words to that song are hilarious...great toes, and cute sandals...enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love your popsicle toes! Very pretty :) The polka dots are so fun. Glad to meet to meet you through the party!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful toes... that's what I'd call them! the color matches the tulips that popped up in my yard this week! Stay warm... spring is right around the corner!
ReplyDeletedee dee
Looks like you had fun with this one. I'm enjoying all the entries in Betsy's party.
ReplyDeleteCute toes...and I love the color!
ReplyDeleteI like the white dots. Next time I will try something like that.
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Aren't those little paint pens fun!? Cute sandals too!
ReplyDeleteBrave and pretty. It's not quite sandal wearing weather here either.
ReplyDeleteLove your toes. Since you'll have to keep them covered up, I bet your pedicure will last a while.
ReplyDelete"Popsicle Toes"...I haven't thought about that song for a VERY LONG time! Thanks for reminding me.
I love the Polk a dots! So creative!
ReplyDeleteHave your toes thawed yet? ha.
ReplyDeleteMine have been in socks and slippers all day!
I'm really loving your blue sandals. :)
Awww cute...I love the design you put on them!
ReplyDeleteWe are having gorgeous spring weather. Hope it is headed your way soon. My toes are definitely in need of a pedi. Jackie
ReplyDeleteWow! those are so fun. Love it. Ty for showing us. :)
ReplyDeletePretty toes and I totally get it about not painting in the winter. I just last week pulled out the polish but only because I was going to the Doctor and knew I would have my flats off. Bad. Don't polish for Steve but for my lady doc???? :) I've got to get the nail art pen!

ReplyDeleteYour popsicle toes are a wonderful treat to see.... it promises warm days and pleasures of summer!
ReplyDeleteAround here, although it's been lovely weather, it's still only hovering just above freezing, so our toes haven't had any desire for sandals just yet.
BTW, that green sandal... I have a very similar pair!
