Anniversary Gift - babysitting

 Mark and Kimmy celebrated their
7th Wedding Anniversary today.

I gave them the gift of babysitting.
Kimmy & Mark went out to a quiet brunch and
some alone time.

 We played!

 We started out playing "train".
Laundry baskets are some of the best toys.

I was busy!
First time with all three awake and running around.

Baseball bat, turned into some sort of instrument.

Dress-up wedding veil was a game of peek-a-boo.

Quiet time was spent in the laundry baskets.
We all had fun!

Happy 7th Anniversary
Mark and Kimmy.

  1. Christine,
I'm sure your daughter and son in law realize what a blessing it was to have you take care of the kids so they could spend time together.
    How wonderful.

God bless the rest of your evening!

  3. That's the best kind of gift, IMO. They got a gift, and YOU got one too. Win/Win. I guess since the kids clearly enjoyed the Great Grandma Babysitting Adventure, you could call it a Win/Win/Win or maybe a triple crown.

I love wholesome fun. We used to play train when I was a kid.

  11. That is so sweet! I love it that your grands have imaginations and love playing in the laundry baskets. Cute pics.

When the grands were here over Mother's Day Steve and I got to babysit two nights. The baths, Papa reading bedtime stories, and the sweet tuck in with lots of hugs and kisses is the biggest treat for this grandma's heart
