Tom and I just got back from the
most wonderful place in the world.
THE BEACH!
Not just any beach,
Cannon Beach, Oregon!
We went to visit our grandchildren, and
Kimmy & Mark.
They have been gone since the last week of September.
Tom and I missed the chatter and pitter-patter of little feet.
Here are some highlights of the past few days.

ReplyDeleteYou were at my favorite place -- the beach. What a good time you all had! Although it looks colder than I want to be on the beach. So nice you were able to travel there to see the grands (and Kimmy and Mark of course).
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I've been wondering how Kimmy and family were doing... how wonderful that you were able to spend tie "breathing" with your beautiful family!

It looks like a great time was had by all! So great that you were able to go for a visit. Wow...your grandchildren have grown!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in. Looks like a wonderful time away for you. Would love to be at the beach this time of year, and with the grandchildren makes it even better!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, friend. Looks like a wonderful time was had by all. I do love the beach.
ReplyDeleteBreathing it all in . . .
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful...how meaningful, how loving...so much caught within the pictures...yea! for retirement!!
ReplyDeleteThis might be a good time to tell you that I want to model my life after you. It's true. I admit it. I love how you've embraced the empty nest and the little house and bike riding for coffee.
ReplyDeleteNow, I love how you can just pick up and go to the beach to visit your kids.
Great life. Really!
I can just imagine how good it was to see them all again, and at such a beautiful place. I love seeing Haystack Rock in the background. I am sure I told you this, but I lived in Cannon Beach for one year of my life, and I worked at a restaurant right up from the Haystack Rock. You brought back so many memories by sharing these great pictures. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAll your babies are growing so fast and are just adorable!! Trey smiling... sunshine on a rainy day! blessings ~ tanna
