Monday mornings, I usually head on down to our church to help out.
I guess you can call me "the church lady".
The weather has been very stormy
with wind and lots of rain.
I was looking forward to my walk in the rain and
checking it off my Fall Fun list.
These are the two trees in our front yard.
One on either side of our driveway.
Last night's storm left the sidewalks and
gardens littered with branches.
Praise God, no damage!
Glad there was no damage. And what the world needs, in my not-so-humble-opinion, is more church ladies. :) blessings to you
ReplyDeleteGlad your trees are ok. Our kids made it stateside from Okinawa to, are you ready, Seattle. They are spending 2 days there and we'll pick them up in Bloomington tomorrow night. They said it was raining there. :D

OK, FINALLY I can read posts about taking walks in cool fall weather and not get a case of climate envy. We have fall here, and it looks like it might stay. I am enjoying my walks again this week for the first time in months.
ReplyDeleteSo... I'm walking with you.
I'm so glad you didn't have storm damage.
A walk in the rain ... how refreshing.
ReplyDeleteI am most impressed that you volunteer each week at your church. They are lucky to have you.
