Some of you already know that I take care of my
18 month old, grandson on Tuesdays.
The teacher in me loves to be creative
and have fun doing it.
I have taught Trey some sign language,
which has really come in handy.
When he wants to eat, is thirsty or wants more,
he let's me know by signing these words.
He also knows and signs the words
dog, airplane, and listen.
He understands a lot more words.
The sign for NO is one that comes to mind!
I try not to say the words that we have learned
and that he understands.
I'll sign, sit and shoes.
He then goes to his little chair,
climbs up and sits, while I get his socks and shoes on.
After his shoes are on,
we take out the garbage and recycle.
This is one of Trey's jobs.
Routine and consistence has been the key!
Last Tuesday I decided to have a cooking class.
We made cookies.
After baking, we cleaned up and emptied the dishwasher.
It was a great day.
I always look forward to my days with Trey.
They are always full of love, excitement, hugs and kisses.
