I'm Back From Idaho

It was a jammed packed visit
 to Idaho this time!
I have a traveling diary that I keep in my car,
that I record all the different "pit-stops"
along the way.
I have driven to Idaho 13 times
 (flown twice)
in the last two years!
To help me remember each trip,
 I name each visit.
This trip is called Harvest Festival

But there was so much more going on.

Above is a series of pictures.
Lulu was pretending to put make-up on Ila May.
The bottom set is Levi teaching
Silas how to wrestle.
These siblings love each other soooo much!

Lulu and I had our annual Tea Party.
This china set stays at my home but travels over
once in a while, making the occasion very special.

I asked these two to strike a pose
and this is what they did.

 Selfie with Silas
By the way he just started walking!
He is doing so well, since his open heart surgery,
 last May

The Harvest Festival was the reason  excuse
to travel to Idaho this time.
Their church holds this annual event.
Pie contest, relay races, horse rides,
 bow and arrows shooting,
hay rides, caramel apples, cider,
the list goes on and on!

I could of inundated this post with pictures
but I held back with just a few.

Lulu and Levi entered all the events
This was the Three-legged Race.
They were on a team that had all ages!

They had so much fun and they did very well.

I was on the side lines cheering them on,
along with Silas and Ila May.
There were so many kids.
I'd look down and see someone new who had joined us.
It was a great event for all the kids and parents.

This is the Grandma Picture!

  1. Oh wow, I find it hard to believe it has been two years since they moved out that way! Love that you not only keep a photo journal through your blog but an actual journal about each trip you take to visit Kimmy and her family! What a treasure of memories! Thank you for sharing your trip with us!

  4. Love all the pictures, but the 'grandma picture' is the best. So happy for you to get to go and spend such special time and be there for those memory moments. Happy Fall friend!

  6. I thought I commented, but I guess I just read this. Oops! I love all the pictures especially your "selfie" and the last one with all the grands. I know it is quite a drive for you, but how good that you are able to get out there so often. The kids are all getting so big! What happened to little tiny Lulu? She's all grown up! What fun to go for a Harvest Festival!
