This is,
MR. SCIENCE.
aka husband, Tom, or
what the little people around here call, Papa.
Dressed to impress,
he has his Tough Guys Wear Pink shirt,
infamous platform shoes,
missed matched socks and
experimental equipment in hand,
ready for his students.
Today, he is teaching the home school students
about Solids, Liquids, Gases
and Condensation.
Mr. Science took his class outside for the next experiment.
This one is about how M &M's,
when placed in water, the color dissolves,
the "M" floats to the top and the chocolate can be eaten!

"Train up a child, in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6
Very good, Mr. Science. I didn't know that about M&Ms so you taught me something too. Love the shirt.
ReplyDeleteScience never looked so fun! Bill Nye has nothing on Tom! :)
ReplyDeleteYour grandchildren are blessed indeed to be loved so much. We homeschooled too, and we count our greatest reward in that both our daughters and SILs plan to homeschool too. Being involved in that with your grands is such a privilege! Of course having fun is just colateral damage. :D
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool, and what a cool Science teacher you have there, Christine.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sue
A standing ovation to Mr. Science! Good teachers engage students and he is a pro.
ReplyDeleteHappy June and have a lovely weekend dear one!
This is a great post! I did not know about the M & Ms. I think it is a wonderful idea to have him import his knowledge with these dear children!
ReplyDeleteFertile young minds ... glad they've got a great teacher there.
