Tom and I are still getting use to the
fact that we live in a rural area.
The other night we went for a drive after a coffee date.
It is so beautiful here!
But then.....
(click on the words to enlarge picture)
There are some really funny
moments around here.
You can be driving and enjoying
the most beautiful
scenery and all of a sudden,
STOP the car!
This was a rustic, old fashion, town,
scene in someone's front yard.
Mannikins and all!
I just had to blog about this!
After I got my breath and composure back, from laughing and running around,
I click away at the breath-taking
fields that we drove by.
If you look closely,
these two pictures are fields next to each other.
Hint: same clouds!

(Harvested Thornless blackberries and
Sweet One Hundred tomatoes.
More to come!)
"For by Him all things were created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, weather (they be) thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created for him and by him:"
Colossians 1:16
My, what interesting neighbors you have! Ha! Can you imagine coming across them at night for the first time? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fields...makes me feel right at home. :-)
Have a blessed Sunday!
What a creative imagination your neighbors have to create such a fun scene in their yard! Enjoyed seeing the pictures, and wonder if they ever change it up, lol! Your berries look wonderful! Blackberries aren't quite ready here yet, but I can't wait for when they are! Have a beautiful and blessed day :)
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I got a giggle from it as well! Be well! Judy
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy! haha.....rural-ness is to blame, maybe....just too much time on someone's hands and not enough real people to talk to to keep them sane. lol...
ReplyDeleteAren't you glad you can't see that from your house? hahaha....
Very interesting "neighbors"!! LOL! People never cease to amaze me with the things they come up with!
ReplyDeleteOh, beautiful for spacious skies and amber waves of grain... =) blessings ~ tanna
How cute is that! So interesting that your neighbors would put up such a scene. I love the pictures of the fields. You aren't in Washington anymore.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Christine, that is too funny! Reminds me of a time we were vacationing in Hawaii in Oct. and a house had a yard full of mannequins and all kinds of scary goings on for Halloween. I just had to stop and take photos. lol! I love the fields and the wide open spaces. Tomatoes and blackberries, yum!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
What a fun and unexpected scene. We came across something similar in the Smokies last year.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the smile you gave to me this morning. Beautiful farmland pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou are just having too much fun...Hey Dorothy! we aren't in Kansas anymore, comes to my mind!
ReplyDeleteI want that rustic, old fashion, town,
ReplyDeletescene in my neighborhood!
