What did you do on Saturday?
We went to the Park!
It was a cool but very nice afternoon.
We meet a few others there, also.
We all gathered with the same
motivation and passion.
SAVING UNBORN BABIES!
This year's, March For Life!
We started out,
at Julia Davis Park
and marched to the State Capital.
Tom and I, plus a thousand others,
took to the streets.
We were escorted with flashing lights
by the cities finest, the Boise police.
It was a short walk to the State Capital,
which took about 10 minutes.
Families with babies, teenagers, couples (young and old),
large groups, individuals, some singing, some just walking.
All of us were passionate and wanted our voices heard.
Heading in the same direction!
Tom and I were at the head of the pack,
so I took advantage of the moment.
I went up the steps and got this picture from the podium.
There were guest speakers ranging from
religious clergy to State Congressional members.
The Guest Speaker was Ramona Trevino.
She was a former
Director of Planned Parenthood
in Sherman, Texas.
She had a compelling story of her
conviction and conversion.
We had a great afternoon!
Tom and I have a passion for
those who can't speak up for themselves.

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward."
Psalms 127:3
Good for you! Thank you for doing this for people who can't -- the unborn.
ReplyDeleteChristine, this post moved me and made me so grateful for people like you and Tom who are fighting the fight, defending the little ones who have no voice. The number of lives lost through abortion is simply staggering.
ReplyDeleteWow...that graph says it all, doesn't it? Goodness...
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome! I am sadden by the courts decision here in Texas and since it all started here in my state, that makes a double hit for us. May the Lord hear our prayers and forgive us of this horrible sin. Thanks for participating.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing you and Tom are doing. I can't believe the court system in Houston, and how they ruled. Simply horrible. Made me think of this verse: Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this post today :)
Such a travesty in this country. A blemish on the soul of our nation. So glad you and Tom took a stand. Thank you. God bless you. xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day to march. Blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteHave a sunny weekend!
