What is the difference
between a Clementine and Tangerine?

Clementines are the smallest members of the
mandarin family and are seedless.
The peel is smooth, glossy and a deep orange.

They are available from
November until April.

This varietal was created by a French missionary
over a 100 years ago.
His name was Marie-Clement Rodier.

Clementines have been a staple, as a centerpiece,
on our kitchen table for the past month.

Look what landed on the table
when I replenished
the bowl.

"He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
He counts the stars and calls them by name. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding  is beyond comprehension!"

Psalms 147: 3-5

  2. I enjoyed this info.... both of them are considered a favorite of mine! Had a tangerine last evening...with salt. I know that by adding salt, it takes away the healthy part of eating this fruit, but I eat almost all fruit with salt with the exception of bananas and kiwi....
