"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13
~~~***~~~
Our bedroom window needs
privacy and yet, some light.
When we first moved in I
TAPED, GLUED, VELCRO-ED, TICKY-TACKED
and just about went crazy trying to
get some lace to stay put!
Finally, I used a combination of ALL
of the above to keep the lace in place.
But then we couldn't open the window for
fresh air!
I came across the easiest solution!
The best part was, I had all the tools and
ingredients in my kitchen.
(how cool is that?)
I used a paste made from flour and water.
Smeared it on the window.
After cutting the lace to the size of the window,
I pressed it on and added more goo on top
of the lace.
Presto!
And now for an even cooler part!
When I want to take it down,
I just squirt the lace with water!!
I used flour but the blog post used cornstarch.
Now we can open the window for Fresh Air.
If Tom is in the backyard, I can yell call for him
from inside!
Light with privacy.
TaDa!
I love when problems can be solved
so easily, like this one.
