Celebrating from a distance.
But we still celebrate YOU!
Our family has a funny but great tradition.
We celebrate birthdays, starting out with cake for breakfast,
followed by opening birthday presents!
Tom and I participated in the opening
of Kimmy's presents...
On the back deck...
through the open window...
and through the screen!
It was different and a memorable way of
celebrating.
Almost like being inside, except it was COLD!
Someone didn't understand why we didn't
come in.
Others just took it as fun and different.
Actually, it was great to be this close and almost
touching them.
We are blessed to be able to do this!

It's very hard when you can't hug and love on your own children and grandchildren! I'm glad you were able to find a creative way to enjoy being together anyway! Happy birthday to Kimmy!
