Temperatures are dipping. The wind is blowing. The cost of heating is expensive.
And the Christmas gift of the year was a Snuggie.
My family knew I didn't need a Snuggie because I have a Lucy.
Lucy likes to snuggle up in my bathrobe. So when I get cold I wear my Lucy.

As tempting as it may be to hover in front of the fireplace or near the furnace vent before heading out into the cold temperatures and chilly winds of the winter weather, this is also a bad idea. When you step out into the chilly wind and chilly temperatures, you will be warm for only a few seconds, a minute at best. Bundle up instead of hovering, and allow your body temperature a few minutes to adjust before going out.
Can I borrow Lucy? She is just too cute... and, warmth is a GOOD thing right now! Stay snuggled!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable. I am surrounded by 4 dogs right now....

May I please borrow your Lucy for warmth during the cold Oregon winter? I have a Neesha, but at 75 pounds of husky/collie fur she's a bit heavy for me to carry around :)
ReplyDeleteI think I need a Lucy too! :-) I did buy my family Snuggies for Christmas and they are really enjoying them.
ReplyDeleteLucy is better than a Snuggie anyday! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteStaying warm is almost the most important thing to me these days LOL. I'm relying very much on my electric blanket on my bed. Lucy is such a good way to stay warm too. So cute!
ReplyDeleteLucy is a much better choice than a snugglie and a fun companion besides. She's a lucky little dog.
ReplyDeleteI just love your Lucy. Somehow I don't think that it will work with my Caribou or Abby, although I can get a good snuggle with them beside me on the floor. I pitch this great idea to Wayne, do you think I can convince him that a "small" dog is a good "investment"!

LOL! I wonder if I could do that with Nugget!
ReplyDeleteBrrr in Houston!
