Christmas tree needles were dropping like Seattle rain.
Time for the tree to be dismantled.
Ornaments taken down and put away.
Carpet was vacuumed at least three times.
Just when I thought "Christmas" was all put away,
I found one tree ornament and
the missing bale of hay for a nativity.
Whew!
Now I can enjoy a few more days before
heading back to work.
Putting "Christmas" away is on my list to do today too! I pray that these next few days of vacation will be relaxing and full of fun and joy! Have a great day Christine!

ReplyDeleteI had to smile, Christine , no matter how hard I try I always find an ornament or some Christmas decoration I have missed. My plans are to start tomorrow taking ours down. I wonder what I will leave out this time? lol.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family a very blessed, and Happy New Year.
Hugs,
Sue
As you put away Christmas my friend I wish you a very Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteMine's still up, but at least it's artificial. :) I ususally wait until after New Year's Day to start the dismantling process. Oh, joy!
ReplyDeleteI've just popped in from Camp and Cottage Life. Our tree will stay up until January 6th and then I'll do the big clean up!
