This is a picture of our Little Cottage.
We are between the two big trees.
I took this picture from across the street
so you could get a good perspective.
We are getting ready for visitors from Boise,
(which means 40 little toes and 20 big toes).
Because our Little Cottage is so small,
we needed to come up with more room.
The deck was a perfect place to expand for the Summer.
Except, the wood was full of splinters!
Tom and I got busy and applied this heavy duty paint on top.
It turned out beautiful.
Bring on the big & little toes!
I know you will enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's so exciting to have everyone come. I hope you have a great time together. The deck looks good!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, and what fun awaits for all.
ReplyDeleteHi Christine.

This cracked me up, Christine. Only because I KNOW first hand how many projects have been inspired by the little toes coming to visit!! AND, your deck looks wonderful!! I know you can't wait!! Today Little Man turns four. We had a birthday Skype... but, I sure do miss being with them. ENJOY, enjoy, enjoy! I know you will! blessings ~ tanna

ReplyDeleteHere's to hoping that it is!
Christine,
ReplyDeleteYour cottage is so beautiful! We have been working on the landscaping where my inlaws live and are in process of adding a fence (to keep the neighbor's kids out of the yard). I pray you have a wonderful visit with Kimmy and her family!

It looks wonderful. What kind of paint did you use? (If you don't mind emailling at wordsonwheels@live.com, I really would like to know, not just being chatty.)
ReplyDeleteI know you are looking forward to filling the Little House with toes!
Enjoy your visit with all of the little and big feet that will be leaving their footprints on your newly painted deck and hearts! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and creative way to share your upcoming company! Your porch is so cute, that everyone would love to visit on it. Hope you all have a most special time together!
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful...and so inviting, and ready for wonderful memories to be made by all those toes! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat looks very inviting!
ReplyDeleteHome comings . . .
ReplyDeleteI look forward to photos of this special visit. Having just spent 6 days with our kids in 1056 square feet of house I empathize with how "tight" it will be. Thanks goodness for decks and porches.
