Summer Visit - Chapter 1: Reading

I plan on doing a few posts
 about the visit of our
daughter, son in-law and grandchildren.
Other wise know as the Boise Bunch.

What I love to do, when our grandchildren visit,
is have new and old favorite books
available for reading time or just a quick moment.

There was always time, place, someone to read
and someone to read to!

  1. Well, you know how I feel about books. What a wonderful thing to do! I love it that there was always some to read and to be read to. Love the pictures.

  2. You find the best books. I actually just found one that we took home of yours. It's the Victorian holiday book. I've never looked at it but have been enjoying it. Can I keep it for a while????

  3. Love. love. love. this, Christine. When we meet the Little Men for vacations or for holidays, there are always books.... with long inscriptions from Noni to remind them of our time together. The little crochet project I'm trying to do is going to go with "Noni, The Pony." ;) We love our books... they bind our hearts with good memories and lots of love.

I LOVE that last photo!!!! blessings ~ tanna

  4. There's nothing quite like the joy that comes while reading to a child. I'm glad to see there are people like me, who still enjoy this activity.
