Tom and I just returned from a trip to Seattle.
Boy, did we celebrated!
Two Birthdays!
Stephanie, our daughter-in-law, received the
picnic blanket, I made for her birthday.
Trey celebrated turning 4!!!!!
We gave him, his very own shovel, rake, hat and work gloves.
He is really into dirt.
He went right to work, digging in his play area.
We also, celebrated with Trey's friends and family
with a party for him.
Todd and Steph bought a blow-up slide for all
the kids to play on.
Perfect for this very HOT day!
One of the days, Tom and I got to babysat,
while mom and day went to work.
Hot tub, Bonfire, walks to the "Club House",
(otherwise know as the grocery store for a cookie)
and snuggles.
Just couldn't get enough!
LOOK WHO IS WALKING!!!!
We celebrated this moment!
We celebrated this moment!
Scarlett took some of her first steps
while we were there!
In this picture, Papa is dragging Trey.
It's a fun thing, that they do together.
We visited and celebrated
my Aunt Bobbie's new home.
my Aunt Bobbie's new home.
She now lives with her grandson and is so happy!
We went out for a seafood lunch.
(Really miss fresh seafood)
On our way back to Seattle,
we rode on a ferry boat.

On our way back to Seattle,
we rode on a ferry boat.
Ahhh...fresh, salt water air!!
Tom and I went to our annual, concert at a winery.
We joined hundreds of others, waiting in line.
Another evening, we walked around Redmond and celebrated, Night Nosh.
There were a variety of food trailers with live music and dancing.
It's always fun to go "home" and visit with family
and the friends we left behind.
Seattle / Redmond, will always have a place in my heart.
We are home now and enjoying the end of summer.
Looking forward to Fall!

I'm so glad you had such a nice vacation. Your grands are getting so big. It must have been wonderful spending so much time with them.
ReplyDeleteWow!! look at all the fun!!! So fun visiting here with you!! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fantastic time! How fun to be able to celebrate your grandson's birthday and to watch your granddaughter take her first steps.
ReplyDeleteThat picnic blanket you made for Stephanie is beautiful!! I'm sure she loves it.
Have you ever visited any of the wineries around here. Sawtooth is the closest. It's just a few miles down Highway 45 (12th Avenue).
I look forward to getting together with you soon.
Blessings,
Patti
The grands are so cute and it's apparent you all enjoyed each other's company! Glad you got to visit your old watering grounds too, Christine. It looks like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to tell you how much I liked your bandana blanket, Christine!
ReplyDeleteStephanie appears to be totally happy with her new quilt. Who wouldn't. What a neat idea! Trey is getting so big,(obviously headed to be a landscaper or farmer) and little Scarlett walking? Wow! So happy you got to visit family and friends and have so much fun. They change every time we see them, don't they? Y'all make great grandparents!
