An early, summer morning,
with the sun lighting up my kitchen
Kimmy and I took pistol lessons in
the desert with other ladies
from our church.
There were about 15 of us.
It was my first time even holding a gun.
Solar eclipse was breathtaking.
We got 99.5% coverage.
Lulu was baptized.
Once a year, during summer, Church Camp,
there is a lake baptism on Sunday.
Mark got the privilege to baptize Lulu.
Lulu also finished reading the whole Bible,
from start to finish.
Mark and Kimmy took her out for a celebration dinner.
Tom and I really enjoy driving our VW,
with the top down.
Amazing sunsets!
Babysitting these two siblings,
Isaac and Ila May.
Max is my brother's son and
he came to visit us for a few days.
Then a few days later, Steve, my brother and his wife, Jeanne,
visited us for several days.
This is their cute, little trailer!
Tom and I love to watch our Humming Birds
It wouldn't be a summer without
sometime with Didi!
This year our vegetable garden
has produced so many goodies.
Summer is ending but
the weather is still gorgeous.

"But Jesus turning and seeing her said, "Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well." At once the woman was made well."

Oh, Christine, your summer review is divine. It was filled with all the things that are important in life: home, family and friends. Lovely. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteYour summer review was such a blessing to read, Christine! What a great summer is was for Lulu, reading the bible through, and being baptized, this is so awesome! I have wanted to take gun lessons, but just haven't found the courage yet, so glad you did!. Wishing you a very blessed Labor Day weekend.
