My Summer Review

An early, summer morning,
with the sun lighting up my kitchen

Kimmy and I took pistol lessons in
the desert with other ladies
from our church.

There were about 15 of us.
It was my first time even holding a gun.

Solar eclipse was breathtaking.
We got 99.5% coverage.

Lulu was baptized.
Once a year, during summer, Church Camp,
there is a lake baptism on Sunday.
Mark got the privilege to baptize Lulu.

Lulu also finished reading the whole Bible,
 from start to finish.
Mark and Kimmy took her out for a celebration dinner.

Tom and I really enjoy driving our VW,
 with the top down.
 Amazing sunsets!

Babysitting these two siblings,
Isaac and Ila May.

Max is my brother's son and
he came to visit us for a few days.

Then a few days later, Steve, my brother and his wife, Jeanne,
visited us for several days.

This is their cute, little trailer!

Tom and I love to watch our Humming Birds

It wouldn't be a summer without
sometime with Didi!

This year our vegetable garden
has produced so many goodies.

Summer is ending but
the weather is still gorgeous.

"But Jesus turning and seeing her said, "Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well." At once the woman was made well."

Part 4 - My Mother

My Dad

My dad loved me very much.
And I loved him!
In fact, everybody loved my dad.

I was always his little girl.
I got most of my attention, growing up, from him.

This is the last picture of my dad.
He died  June 23, 2006

My life changed after his death.
My mom "disowned" me.
We just couldn't understand each other.

❤❤

I have been blessed to have a lot of understanding,
help and love though out my life.
(Tom, Todd, Kimmy, Aunt Bobbie, Didi)

I give all the glory to God for
providing me with these
loved ones who caught me,
when I would fall.
Listen to me and wipe away my tears.

I have many other special friends,
who have been there for me, too!

❤❤

The Ending...

God preformed a miracle in my life!
He restored a faded relationship with my mother,
in her last days.

God gave me the wisdom to witness to my mom.
He gave me the power to pray with her.

In the end, my mom and I finally told each other
that we loved each other.

Praise God!
