🎵  In The Good Old Summertime ðŸŽµ

A day at the Water Park!

When the doors opened, we were one of
the first, to enter the park.

Our grand kids had us climbing up to the top of EACH slide,
and plummeting to the bottom, with a splash.
I haven't laughed and screamed like that in a long time.
By the end of the day, Tom and I really enjoyed
floating with inner tubes,
 down the Lazy River!

The temperature reached
a new high for me!
108!
That's HOT!

Even a church reader board,
had something to say about the heat.

Ila May loves to bake and she made
these adorable donuts.
They even matched the plate!

Our garden is producing!!!

We have been eating the best salads.
So pretty and delicious.

Here is Silas picking some tomatoes for me.

What is summer without swimming??
Five out of six, grand kids took lessons.
So fun!

Ok...
Just had to add a picture of
Banjo.

We only let him watch HGTV.

Stay At Home Grandma - Week 2

So far so good!

We attended Church, well kinda.
Mark and Kimmy had us down to watch our church service,
that was streamed live.
We followed the rule of  limit of 10 people!

We were given a format to follow.
Announcements were announced.
Worship songs were sung.
Prayers were said.
Notes were taken.
The service ended with an intimate fellowship.

It felt good to know that we are in this together!

It's Spring and I started my vegetable garden by
planting seeds.

Our 2nd bathroom has a great skylight!
So great, that the seeds are all ready sprouted!!!

It snowed today! Now what??
I guess they'll stay in the tub.

Look who spent the day with us.
Isaac!
It is always a good time when we have a
grand kid or two come over.
Especially, when we are isolating.

He got right to work spraying hard surfaces!

Banjo is keeping us laughing and busy!
His Breeder sent him a surprise package,
 full of toys and treats.

Banjo doesn't look surprised.
More like.... scared.

But that didn't last long.

Speaking of Banjo...

Banjo found Isaac's lost sock under this chair!

This is Isaac's reaction when his mom told him
Banjo found his sock!

I'm  keeping busy sewing another Birthday present.
This time it's for Ila May.

She's turning 9 years old.
She loves to be in the kitchen cooking or baking!

I made her a special apron.

I had the material left over from when I made an apron for her mom.

I didn't have a pattern but I found a great tutorial on line.

And I didn't have to leave home for material or pattern!

I've always called myself a Stay-At-Home -Grandma.
And now it's literal.

Coronavirous  Has Hit Close To Home

Tom and I had plans to visit our three grandchildren, who live in Seattle.
But sadly, we canceled our visit.

We have family that live in the neighborhood,
where the outbreak of the virus, has taken lives.

Tom and I aren't fearful,
just cautious and are waiting to see how this will playing out.
before we head over.

Huxley is now 7 months old.
He sits up and has 5 teeth.
All this happened since we last saw them.

Trey is 7 years old
Scarlett is 4 years old

Trey won 1st place in sparing and 3rd in Kara forms.

Scarlett loves to swim and can't wait
to get in the pool.

Scarlett has been writing me the cutest letters!

This is the before and after the 1st Haircut for Huxley!

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

In the meantime, we are pumping all kinds of good vitamins into our bodies.

We found that the chewable vitamin C is really easy to take.
Especially, when we are taking a lot of them.

We are pretty good about washing our hands, but we've
added hand sanitizer to our routine, followed by hand lotion.

Being disappointed about not visiting our family,
Tom and I jumped into our RV and headed out for a night.

Nobody was around us!

The weather was clear and somewhat warm.

Warm enough to take Banjo for some long walks.

It was his first time traveling.

Once Tom built the fire, we warmed up nicely.

The glow of the fire, makes such a great picture.

End of the Year

Remember when you were young
and collected buttons?

There were all kinds of buttons...
funny, thoughtful. even political.

Then came bumper stickers.

Again, some funny, thoughtful or
political.

With computers, came, what are called Memes.
They are catchphrases that are passed on to others via the computer.

It's the end of the year and I have collected a lot of Memes.
Now it's time to
clean out my computer and start fresh.

So here it goes...
some funny, some thoughtful and
some political.

If you have read ALL of these Memes,
you probably know
me a little better, now!
