Best Christmas Gift Ever!

Christmas Eve service
in the Barn!
It was all lite up and warm.

These girls are sisters and they sang
so beautifully.
(this picture is of them practicing)
All the animals were outside.
The kids had both grandmas
to help celebrate with them.
 The candles were glowing
while we sang

Christmas morning,
just before the kids came downstairs.
Waiting....

 Kimmy gave Mark several
surprise gifts to Mark.

Please go over to Kimmy's blog and watch the video
titled,  Mark's Christmas Present.

It was a great Christmas for all of us.

See you
New Year!!

Seeing the Christmas Lights

Only a few of us went to see the beautiful Christmas lights
and musical, fountain show,
 at the outdoor mall.
Tom stayed home with Silas and Isaac, who were sick.

It was so wonderful
and then...
it started snowing, right on time.

It was snowing hard!

This is a walking tube of lights.

Kimmy and me.

More December Fun!

Our first snowfall.
Not much and didn't last long.

I joined our church choir to perform
two Christmas songs.
Being a novice singer, I learned so
much from those around me.
Plus, it was so much fun

🎄🎄🎄🎄

I was invited, along with Kimmy and kids
 to a Christmas Cookie
 Decorating  Party.

These are some of the artists work.

These Meringue cookies are for
all our Gluten Free friends and family.

 Kimmy did a great job.

A house full of kids all
talking and working.

The party was mostly for kids
but Kimmy and I jumped into the fun.

The cookies below were our
"Ugly Christmas Cookies".
A take off from the
Ugly Sweater.

Lulu was the only grandchild
who came with us.

 She worked hard on all
her cookies.

Each cookie was so creative
 and beautiful
Nobody will want to eat them.

Merry Christmas!

It must be December because I'm
having so much FUN!

First, I celebrated my birthday with
a special dinner at Mark and Kimmy's home
along with the kids.
And, yes, Tom was there too!

Kimmy always has balloons tied to the chair
of the birthday person.

 Each grandchild took turns
sitting next to me, as I opened
and read each of their homemade
cards.

 Next...
 it was a "Girls Day"!
We went to see the
Nutcracker in downtown Boise.

The binoculars were a hit!

Lulu and Ila May knew one of the performers
in the ballet and she greeted them afterwards.

But WAIT, there is more...

The next day we went on a
 horse drawn carriage ride
through the streets of downtown Boise.

Burr, it was cold but so exciting!
We all bundled up in our winter coats and hats.
One of us wore a sun bonnet, just in case.

Dolly was the name of this horse.

I don't know who was more excited Kimmy or the kids!

We celebrated our first ride with a stop at
the chocolate store.

And to think it's only the middle of December.
There is more fun coming up!

Sure hope I can sleep tonight.
